Weaver Fever Book by Jackie Robinson

Fabric Requirements

Note: I found with this quilt that it was easier to pick the borders after the center was completed. However, you could also pick a border print first and select the center colors to match the print.

  • To make a crib/lap quilt:
    • 5/8 yard of 3 fabrics (a light, medium and dark) in one color way for weave
    • 5/8 yard of 3 fabrics (a light, medium and dark) in a second color way for weave
    • 5/8 yard of a background fabric
    • The following may be bought after class (note: There are 2 border options, the first from the book and the second from my sample):
      Border option 1:
      • 1/2 yard for border 1
      • 1/3 yard for border 2
      • 1/2 yard for border 3

Border option 2:

      • 3/8 yard for border 1
      • 1 1/4 yards for border 2
  • To make a twin, double/queen or king size quilt please refer to fabric requirements in the book.

Thread

  • A thread that blends with the fabrics for piecing.
