Hello,
This newsletter is the first one being sent out from our new website. It has been months in the making and we still have some work to do on it but I hope you will like our new look. I love how I can easily put pictures on each page. Not only will you get a copy of the newsletter but it will also be posted on the website. I couldn't do that in the past. (Well, maybe I could have and just didn't know how.) I'm going to try to keep the calendar up to date as we go along so at one glance you can see what is going on at the shop. So much fun I can have and guess what, it's still midnight. That didn't change.
Your email address was transferred from the old website to the new one. When that was done you should have received a free pattern. If you didn't then just sign up again and a free pattern will be emailed to you.
We got a shipment of white on white fabrics from PandB today. Maybe that's a prequel to the white stuff we're expecting tomorrow. Hope you have some projects lined up so if you get snowed in you'll have something to do.
April is the AQS show in Paducah, KY. which welcomes visitors from all over the world. The whole city gets involved during this show. You'll find quilts at the show, the mall, the Rotary Club, the museum and last year they were even at the casino. With all the quilts to feast your eyes on, 400 vendors, the Eleanor Burns tent show, the Ricky Tims concert and so much more, it's no wonder Paducah is called Quilt City. Join us and find out for yourself. We will leave on Wed. April 21 and return on Sun. April 25. The trip includes deluxe motor coach, 4 nights lodging, 10 meals and snacks, 3 days at the AQS show, Eleanor Burns tent show, Hancocks of Paducah, Harrah's casino (for those who want to go), the Quilt Box in Dry Ridge, KY. Cost is $680 per person/double, $600 per person/triple and $540 per person/quad. $100 due at time of sign-up. One half of balance due by Feb. 20, and balance by March 15. No refunds after Mar. 20. If for some reason you find you can't go after Mar. 20 we can try to find someone to take your spot.
Have a wonderful weekend. Maybe you can spend a day just sewing. Wouldn't that be fun.
See you soon,
Sherry
