Punkin' Patch Supply List – class all Hand Work

Class will concentrate on the hand applique and ruched flowers.

Class will have demo on piecing the Oak Leaf block so sewing machine is not required for this class.

Fabric requirements:

1 yard Background Fabric – please pre-cut a 15-1/2” x 37” strip before class, the remaining fabric will be used to piece the oak leaf blocks.

1 Fat Quarter Light Green Fabric – Pumpkin Applique and pieced oak leaf

1 Fat Eighth Medium Green – Pumpkin Applique

1 Fat Eighth Dark Green – Pumpkin Applique

¼ Yard Fabric for Vine

½ Yard Light Orange Fabric – Pumpkin Applique and pieced oak leaves

½ Yard Medium Orange Fabric – Pumpkin Applique and pieced oak leaves

½ Yard Dark Orange Fabric – Pumpkin Applique and pieced oak leaves

1 Fat Eighth Light Grey Fabric – Pumpkin Applique

1 Fat Eighth Medium Grey Fabric – Pumpkin Applique

1 Fat Eighth Dark Grey Fabric – Pumpkin Applique

¼ Yard ruched flower fabric

1 Fat Eighth medium brown fabric – Pumpkin Stems

Freezer paper and a fine point sharpie

Clear tape

Water soluble fabric marking pen

Light and Dark fabric marking tools

Clover ¼” bias Strip Maker tool

Iron and Ironing surface (venue will supply)

Thread to match applique fabric

Heavy quilting thread to match ruched flower fabric

Applique pins – I use ¾” glass head pins by clover

Paper and sewing scissors

Ruler, Mat and cutter – will use this to cut bias strips for ruched flowers

Applique needles and larger eye needle for heavier thread to ruche flowers (pick up a set of assorted needles to see which works best with your chosen fabric and threads)
