Jelly Roll Placemats/Rug

Material and Supplies needed:

Jelly Roll Rug pattern by R.J. Designs

Working sewing machine that can sew a zigzag stitch (must)

Extension table (helpful)

Walking foot (must)

Seam ripper (must)

Sewing machine denim needle (must) Plus extra for "just in case"

1 Jelly roll or 36 strips WOF 2 1/2”

Matching thread

Several bobbins prewound (time saving)

Clover fabric tube maker (optional but very handy)

Bosal batting 50 yard roll or 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" batting strips to equal 42 yards long

During class we will be making either 4 placemats or an oval rug. Students choice. We expect to complete one placemat or 1/4 of the rug in class.
